Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Back when first opened food was better. Now it's hit or miss. I've had to stop getting rice because Its so hard at times. Can also be stingy with meat. Ok place can be pretty good food. My kids love this place.

So I have been to a lot of burrito places. Chipotle, Freebirds, Burrito Brothers in Gainsville.... Something about an entire meal wrapped up in a handy to-go pack. Simply put, Moe's kills them all. I moved away from Florida and I moved to a place that had ONE Moe's 20 miles away from me. But everyone around there was bragging about Freebirds and Chipotle. I tucked my pride between my legs and headed to try them both - They were tested and found lacking. It seemed a mini road trip was my only solution. Not a gigantic fan of the greeting. I find it like they are trying too hard. But the food is good. I normally always get the Joey Jr since the full sized one is just so big. I get it with steak and most of the time the steak is pretty good quality and prepared fresh. The thing that really kills it is the hot sauce. It is like liquid crack in the bottle. I moved back to Florida and found this one near my office. It is not the best of the ones I have tried. The complaints about the place being dirty... Well, it sure can be. The speed of the employees does not seem to be different than other places. But better then the other options around me.... I am open to better suggestions, but save the claims of Chipotle being better.

I always say there are good Moes and bad Moes. This is, unfortunately, not a good Moes. It's Moe Monday. Most Moes are very busy. This one only had a handful of people in line ahead of me but still took over 15 minutes to get through the line. I couldn't tell if there was any specific employee who was extremely slow because it really seemed as if every employee was moving very slowly. Even the employee at the register who appeared to be the manager was moving slowly! Additionally, I tried to use the Yelp check in offer and he told me it would be better to save it for another day. I said no thank you I'd like to use it today. We only got one drink which should have been free yet we were rung up for two. Very fishy... I was in line during the 12 o'clock hour yet it appeared that most food items were empty. The store wasn't full and no long line so it seemed weird to have so many empty containers. A lot of scraping the bottom of the barrel going on. This location should consider hiring a good location to come train the employees.

Walking in I was apprehensive....There was a paramedic van outside with the lights on. I figured they were in a hurry to eat...nope, some poor little girl had slipped and hit her face on a counter. I felt bad, and tried to keep an open mind...all the while watching for puddles. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, but I have no idea what the burrito maker screamed in my general direction. The order process was quick, although the menu was not very specific. I wasn't sure if there would be meat in my burrito or not. I ordered the homewrecker with steak. The choices were clear for fillings. I was leery of the browning/oxidizing guacamole, but got it anyway (Hey...I like guac). Breakdown: Jalapenos - not even close to hot Guac - needs salt...and lemon Steak - steak? maybe steakums... Pinto beans - decent texture...I guess the can they came from was recently opened olives - couldn't tell they were in there salsa - well, they called it salsa. It was pico de gallo. it was not fresh (never put tomatoes in the fridge...they lose all flavor. Rice - decent texture. All in all, it was sustenance, and I didn't die, and the people were nice, even if I had no idea what they ever said to me. I won't go back to this location. I may try another, but this one I'm just going to forget is even there.

I like Moe's but this dirty and vinyl seat backs are ripped up. Please clean this place up.

This is probably the dirtiest Moe's I have ever been in. The food counter is so dirty and has old dried up food sitting in front of the customers. I would not recommend this place if you like clean places.

I've been to this location a few times now - usually on Monday for a $5 burrito bowl, or on the way home from work for a quick bite. My experiences have always been pleasant. I have a habit of ordering my food ahead of time via their iphone app, and have nevet had a problem with picking it up when I arrive. My food is always hot, fresh, and ready to go. Even times when my husband chooses to order his when we get there, we're never waiting in line for too long for his food to be prepared. The staff is always super friendly, making small talk and smiling - I never get the feeling that they are miserable working there. There was even an instance one day where the soda machine was malfunctioning, ice was pouring out onto the floor everywhere! The lady tending to it was in good spirits as she fixed it, as is hard to find in hourly employees asked to do things like that. Sometimes, the garbages are a tad overflow-y, and the tables could be wiped down a little quicker when someone leaves, but those aren't things that are going to drive me away from this location. The food is good and the staff is friendly - I don't really require much more than that to be happy with a (semi)-fast food establishment.

Had the pork homewrecker burrito. Very generous portion and very tasty. Almost a smokey flavor. Very good. They gave me a ton of chips with my meal. Very friendly staff. Only downside its a little pricey for what it is. But id eat here again for sure. And the yelp coupon for a free drink waa nice.

One of the worse places ever and too often has young in-supervised workers. Don't waste your time or money in my opinion.

Somebody clean this place up already! Overflowing trash, careless kids on the line...what the heck happened here?! Yuck!
(1)Allen D.
This Moe's is not like the others I have been to. A burrito should not take this long to make. I originally went to Moe's in Gainesville and was ok with it. Then I ate at this location. I've had a few mediocre experiences with my food and speed of service but yet I continue to return for the Monday special 5$ burrito. it's a burrito and you can get them anywhere so find a place that fits your needs.
(3)Mike C.
Burritos are mediocre. It's almost the same as those burritos that you buy at 7-eleven.... I prefer Chipotle as my fast food for burritos
(2)Monika K.
tasteless mediocre at best, not cheap. doesn't do it for me. chicken is dry, rice is bland. salsas are sub par. chipotle or mom & pop shops blow moe's outta the water. not authentic. made for the masses. meh!

I'm going to try and not compare this to Chipotle..........Nope, can't do it. Chipotle is better. Ordering a burrito here is a puzzle. Your clues are found on the huge, colorful menu display where they have items with names like "Homewrecker" and a brief description of what is supposed to be in there. If you think you've got it figured out and order something like the "Homewrecker", the impatient and inexperienced staff will basically ask you everything you want in the burrito. This confusing process defeats the purpose of having set menu items, unless...it's a puzzle within the puzzle? If you've managed to complete these puzzles and find a clean table (which you won't, so grab some napkins and clean it yourself), your reward is biting into a small, plain-tasting burrito. While being surrounded of pictures of celebrity look-a-likes. Very confusing, but makes sense for the third level of puzzleness, which is figuring out exactly how you got to this moment of unsatisfaction. On a final note, did you know "Moe" rhymes with "No"? So don't bother coming here, and go to Chipotle instead. Unless you like getting homewrecked.

Went here today and found the staff to be friendly, the food was good and fresh and the place was clean. The highlight of this trip to this place was I got a free drink with the order of a burrito for using yelp to check in at this place. I also like the fact that they support jdrf a charity that helps improve lives of kids with type 1 diabetes. The only complaint I have is they did not ask for my I.D. as it clearly states to do so on the back of my card therefore they get 4 stars instead of five
(4)Vegan B.
People on Yelp are PICKY (and cranky). I love this place. They're always friendly. Moe's offers tofu and their guac and beans are vegan. Much better than Chipotle. Choose the toppings you'd like and they assemble in front of you. Unlimited chips and salsa.
(5)Ashley D.
This place makes my blood boil every time I go there. Why do I keep going back? I am a glutton for punishment. I usually get the veg. tofu bowl or nachos with queso, and every time, the server pours way too much cheese on the BOTTOM of the container, barely any on top....making it so if I do not eat these 3,050 tortilla chips in ten minutes they will be soggy. Like, server dude, are you on drugs? Are you high right now?? Tell me. They also give way too little tofu in your bowl, and I've noticed people ordering chicken with their bowls are also given a kiddie size portion. For eight dollars, I expect more than six pieces of tofu in a tofu bowl...okay. I really want to like this place since they go out of their way to give more vegetarian options but less veg. friendly Chipotle is way more forgiving, and cheaper.
